Are you a teacher or educational professional creating either on-line or off-line courses, or teaching classes for groups of Students? Would you like to be able to distribute resources and game assets as part of your course material but can't find art resources with a suitable distribution license? Game developer studio.com offers multiple, flexible Educational license agreements for a variety of use cases.
The educational license will grant you permission to package and distribute assets to students and allow them to follow along and create games according to your course material. As an Educator you'll be able to choose from all the assets available on the site and use any amount in your course material. Fees are based on the amount of students to which you wish to distribute not the amount of assets you distribute.
Note: If you are using assets from the site to create educational content such as, educational games, educational worksheets or flash cards then you do not need an educational license. Educational licenses only cover redistribution for use as assets.

If you are creating paid on-line courses but are unclear on how many downloads or subscriptions you will attain for your course, you can solicit a flexible educational license. Fees will be charged at $1.50 per subscription plus initial asset costs. Paid course content creators will also receive a discount on non-exclusive custom asset requests.

Where the license includes initial asset cost, the asset or assets which you wish to distribute only need to be purchased once at the price on the site. You may then distribute that asset and any other assets you have purchased to the amount of students covered by your chosen license. You don´t need to purchase a license for every asset you purchase, You can distribute as many assets as you like with your course to the amount of students your chosen license permits.
The educational license covers the amount of students to whom you wish to distribute assets. For example, if you run a game dev workshop that lasts for six weeks and includes thirty students, you would be required to purchase the class license each time you ran the course with a new set of unique students. If the course was a one time event then you would not be required to renew the license. if you run the course every year with a new set of students then you would be required to purchase a new license.
If you are running a large education school or on-line educational course with the enterprise licenses you won't need to initially purchase the assets, Game developer studio will open it's entire library to your account and you can pick and choose any asset you wish to include in your course. As well as that enterprise license holders will receive priority and discount on any missing or custom assets they are missing for their course
Assets can only be distributed under the following conditions
Students must be made aware that the assets distributed in your course material must only be used within the context of the course material. Students must not share, sell, publish or commercialize for money or for free the assets themselves or any work containing assets.
Digital distrubution: If you are distributing assets under any of the above eductaional licenses from a server you must make sure that access to the assets is only available to students covered under your license type. You may not share the assets thorough publically available links or on publically available social media walls.
