Supporter club terms and conditions

Thank you for joining or considering joining the GDS Editor Supporter Club! Your support helps fund the ongoing development of the GDS editor tool and my creative projects. Please carefully read the following terms and conditions before signing up. By becoming a GDS editor supporter, you acknowledge and agree to these terms:

1. Purpose of Membership

Your monthly or yearly membership fee is a voluntary contribution to support the development of the GDS editor tool, the Game Developer Studio website, and related digital assets. Membership is not a payment for a finalized product or guaranteed service.

2. Activation period

While average activation wait time is one hour, please allow at least 24 hours for account activation after sign-up. While not ideal, I haven't had time to fully incoorporate the Paypal recurring payments, and Patreon does not offer a fully integrated solution for connecting accounts programatically. Please feel free to contact me anytime to request status on your account activation. And if your account has not been activated after 12 hours please reach out.

Alternatively, If you prefer you can contact me in advance to confirm your intentions, ensuring a smooth membership activation process.

3. Membership Benefits

Once your membership is activated you will receive:

• The knowledge and satisfaction that you were part of the creation of one of the most innovative 2D game art engines on the internet.
• A crown icon replacing the standard profile icon on the website's navigation panel as a token of appreciation.
• Instant access to discounts and "free to supporter" assets.
• Discounts on selected assets ranging from 1% to 100%, at my discretion (current discounts are visible on the site).
• extended durations on "flash offer" assets (typically an extra one to two weeks, at my discretion).
• Supporter-only features in the GDS editor app, subject to development completion.
• Direct access to the GDS editor "essentials library" when available (estimated release: Version 1.5 in December 2024).
• Upcoming supporter-only features and functionality in the GDS editor (estimated release: early 2025).

Please note that these rewards are subject to change. Be sure to check back regularly or follow GDS Editor’s social media channels for updates to the reward structure.

4. Your understanding

Please note that I am a solo developer managing the GDS editor tool, the Game Developer Studio website, and its digital assets. While I strive to meet your needs and provide a high-quality experience, I cannot guarantee that the editor will work perfectly in its current form. Like any technical product, you may encounter bugs, errors, or service interruptions.

5. My communication with you

Due to my workload, there may be times when I am focused heavily on developing new features or creating assets, making it challenging to provide frequent updates. Most announcements are made on the website's Discord server. Direct or batch emails and posts to members are rare. However, please rest assured I am constantly working very hard to improve the editor and its associated resources. If you have any concerns, feedback, or questions about your membership, please don't hesitate to contact me. I value your input, especially if you’ve been actively using the tool.

6. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your membership at any time. Benefits will remain active until the end of your billing cycle. Once canceled, you will no longer have access to exclusive features, discounts, or free assets. You can resume your membership anytime.

• If you signed up with PayPal, you can cancel via your PayPal account.
• If you signed up with Patreon, you can cancel via the Patreon platform.
• For assistance with cancellations, please contact me directly. and I will be happy to help.

7. Refund policy

All membership payments are non-refundable, including but not limited to cases of:

• Service outages or interruptions.
• Bugs or errors in the tool
• Unused membership benefits

8.Community Conduct

As a GDS editor supporter, you are invited to join the GDS community Discord server. Members are expected to engage respectfully. I reserve the right to revoke access for any behavior that violates community guidelines or disrupts the experience for others.
