This package contain thirty two repeating tiles for creating water features in isometric games. The tiles have been tested to tile perfectly. You can create practically any water feature imaginable, rivers, lakes, deltas, streams and much more.
Each tile has a totally transparent background so they can be laid over any texture you like. This allows for less tile creation and a much smaller tile map. Rivers and lakes in mountains, forests and deserts are all the same tile.
The tiles' isometric angle is 26.5 meaning for every x increment there is double the y increment. This is standard isometric projection for games. If you are using a different angle in your game then these tiles will not be suitable for your needs.
File formats and contents
The file formats are .PNG files. There is a folder which contains an individual image of each or the thirty two sprites each image at 512 pixels by 256 pixels and also four sprite sheets, Each of the sprite sheets contain tiles with the following dimensions. 512 pixels by 256 pixels, 256 pixels by 128 pixels, 128 pixels by 64 pixels and 64 pixels by 32 pixels. As well as the sprite sheets and individual pngs I also put a Photoshop document with each tile as a layer. Probably not necessary for most but it's there in case it helps.
The pack also contains the pine trees used in the display image for this pack - in case anybody complains.
If you're not using a tile map editor to create your levels I've created an svg file and numbered each tile according to it's position on the sprite sheet. You can use the file to get a good understanding on how the tiles inter connect to create levels. Even if you are using a tile map editor this file might come in handy. You are free to edit the tiles as you see fit. You might want to place a texture underneath each tile instead of using a second layer with transparent backgrounds.
